Fugly Farm

Hi Rene, thanks for stopping by! I should have some Nn babies to share in a few weeks, got some eggs in my incubator. They really are adorable as chicks and pretty much all have been very laid back; my husband didn't like them at first but he has come around. Thank you for the well wishes for the heat issue :hugs
Thank you for the welcome IM! I'm looking at some of your first hatchings here in your thread and they are over the top cute! I don't know if my husband would ever come around, he's kind of set in his ways, likes & dislikes...lol! That doesn't matter though, it's my flock and I get to pick and chose what I want, well, as long as I don't get to many that is! My chickens all snuggle up close on the roost bars even though the weather is hot, so I'm sure I have room for a few more...there goes my chicken math... :gig
Stay cool!!! :hugs

They're so cute...nothing like snuggling with ice in 110 degree weather...I think I would too! :)

That's a great summer time picture! I bet the pups loved having that ice on a hot day.
Thanks! Frank lays in it and all the dogs eat it. We, like a lot of people, take a cooler full of ice and a gallon of water. There is no such thing as cool or cold tap water this time of year.

Have you heard of making an inexpensive cooler using a 5g bucket, ice and a fan! Here's a link to how it's done! In an outdoor situation, I would also try to insulate the outside of the bucket...just a thought!

I want to see that mix. I'm green..I want some dorkings.

The mix will be 3 month's old in a couple of day's. Keep in mind that it's mother was a Silver Grey Dorking/Red Ranger mix.

@igorsMistress This one is Roger's upcoming replacement.
