The bougainvillea is insane! I moved the tree limb so it forms an arch over the pop door. I don’t know what I’m going to do with that thing but I like it! I was thinking about wrapping it with a string of tiny solar lights. I went to Home Depot and bought more pavers to build steps for the ducks to get in the pool. I’m still working on a better something as a step inside the pool for them to get out but they have two options to get in now.

The barrel planter in front of the duck house has rosemary in it, it won’t kill the ducks if they eat it, but they won’t eat it. I’d like to add something tucked into the corner behind the pool and something else at the corner of the mini coop but haven’t decided what yet.

That bougainvillea is gorgeous!

I haven't looked into breeds yet, but I know he will want something that is on the endangered list. We had Rouens before.

I like the looks of Dutch Hookbills but have no idea how to get them. I have enough anyway

Had to go back to Home Depot for a few more pavers and bought a few more plants including the geranium. I moved the rosemary to a spot where it will get shade in the late afternoon because it’s in a dark pot and late full sun isn’t a great idea I think. I also had to put up a little fence to keep the ducks out of the pot. I still have two rosemary starts to plant and a succulent as well. Next I’m going to put down something nicer as a step out of the pop door. Not sure what yet but I have a bunch of stuff around here.

So I was showing off my building skills to hubs and he was impressed Now I have more pavers to build stairs on the other side of the pool. Just got home from picking them up and needed to cool off.I’m headed out to move them into the garage now and will work on that after work for a couple days. I may need to make one more trip for a few more but I hope not!
