After pics. I hope raising the west side shade wasn’t a mistake. I have to order two pieces to replace that side so doing it now and we’ll finish it when those get here.

Hi Sue! Yeah, I know but I worry far less about them now lol. Mama had them out foraging in the big yard at two days old!

New shade cloth ordered for the garden, there’s no way those delicate tropicals will live through any summer sun. I ordered it short so there will still be a two foot gap on the bottom. Also slightly less shade at 60%. Also cut down the Mexican bird of paradise and will water it heavily later so I can have the boy dig it out for me, or at least assist. Weeds outside the wall will get done tomorrow before they get out of hand. I have a few other garden projects planned as well for this week, primarily building something around that ugly pipe in the garden so I can plant something to cover it. I’ll have to drag out some stuff from the shed and see what I can come up with.
