I went out this evening to make sure the chicks went to roost and decided to check on the roosting arrangement in the big house. The Turken roo was over with the tweens at first. He slowly made his way across the roost, pausing to examine the roof and wall very nonchalantly until he was next to the buff girl. Then he sat down and cozied right up to her. There was some shuffling and cackling but that boy is slick! He has been gradually spending more and more time with the big girls, slowly working his way into their graces for at least a month now. No forcing himself on them or anything. It's been interesting to watch him.
