We got 1.5” of rain last night and this morning. Some of the sharpie wore off the eggs so I had to candle them to find the eight Bean has been sitting on. I’m estimating day 5 or 6 based on what I saw. I’ll wait a couple weeks and candle again.

That's a lot of rain in a short period of time.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Bean to have some ducklings

Indoor garden. I’m going to add some lettuce, cilantro and maybe a nasturtium or two and see if I can grow them inside. Next is the little hydroponic system for herbs, hubs will set it up for me Friday. The last pic was a surprise from a sweet lady who sent it to me as a gift.

Bean is still sitting on her eggs. Fig spends most of her time there assisting but is more willing to get up and swim. Temps have been in the 110+ range for a few days but should go down over the next week. I’m going to candle them tomorrow to see how they look. Jasper
Is so happy when Bean comes out of o the yard to forage or goes for a swim. He’s ver attentive and talks to her quite a bit, although he still escorts the main group about during the day.
