Ollas. Bury the pot to almost the rim, fill with water and put a saucer on top. I usually put a layer of mulch on top of the saucer also. The water will seep into the ground slowly or as needed to water plants. These will be in the shade garden around the thyme and oregano.

There is total silence in my house right now. I love it! Got the kitchen floor mopped before the brats get home from school. Going to cook some macaroni for mac n cheese tonight and chill out with some Netflix for a while

Ermegerd. Hubs has a plan to separate the coop for chickens but leave the rest of the side yard for bunnies and my son has multiple hens sitting on eggs. They are bombarding me!

Actually, after watching the news this morning I’m probably going to get chickens again.

Russia bombed Ukraine. Possible war. Everyone is screaming about gas and food costs increasing even more. Truckers are headed for DC I think, promise to cause gridlock over “show me you’re vaccinated papers” at borders causing even more supply chain issues. They had the bridge from Canada to the US blocked for a while by parking on it for many days, maybe weeks can’t remember.
