These two are cuttings from one of my Arabian lilacs. I transplanted from water to dirt last weekend. They’re going in the front yard next Spring

This is a cutting from the olive tree, it was also transplanted last weekend and will also go out to the front yard next Spring.

Ooh ooh, hope your Thanksgiving cactus blooms:fl I'd love to see the flowers on it!

Of course! I have two but the other isn’t looking promising yet. I think it blooms closer to Christmas.

Years ago I had a Christmas cactus. It was gorgeous but I couldn't get it to bloom after the 2nd-3rd year. But you have a much "greener" thumb than me!

My mom told me that if you put it in a cool, dark place and limit water they’ll be forced to bloom. This one didn’t need that apparently, it’s clearly warm and bright lol. The other one has tried, but it only had a few blooms last year.

So you aren't supposed to put it in a dark closet and just forget about it? I think that's the mistake I made with that cactus years ago :gig

Just about managing to keep my two begonias alive. I may have a light problem because it is stretching rather than bunching.

I wasn’t getting as much growth in weak light, but with these new ones all my indoor plants are much happier.

This morning I got to stand by and watch the flock. Those babies have fully integrated and are welcome to forage next to any of the bigs with no issues. Super happy about that. I’m positive there are three cockerels and three pullets. One of the black ones and the two white ones are the cockerels, I figured that as soon as I saw them. One of the white ones has a lot of mahogany in the wings so it’s likely from one of the SS, so I’m bummed about that, it’s also the biggest chick so would end up being a good sized boy.
