@fuzzi @lightm @NanaK (am I forgetting any NC people?!!) are Ya'll getting any snow/ice yet? Looking at the radar, it looks like the E Coast is going to have some snow/ice. Snow on the Beach!!

It was cold this morning (those of you in the U.P. just close your eyes and shake your head). Won't warm up but to around 22 or so today. Tonight is supposed to be the colds, then warming a bit.

We were puffed this morning LOL It was a bit windy too.

I had 1 bale of straw left so decided to break it open. This gets everyone busy.

We're in the 2-3" forecast, but we're on the east side of the county, closer to the shore and higher snow totals forecast.

@NanaK and @lightm are closer to the shore, they will get more snow than I.

Today's low is 21 and high is 37, and that is COLD!!!

It is forecasted to have snow around 5pm. There better be some for this kind of temperature.

Haha! Even people up here are complaining about the cold. Including myself.

I shut the pop door into the run because the wind has shifted to the northwest, which blows right in. The bedding of course is frozen solid, so I scattered a layer of shavings on top and added a few handfuls of scratch. That will give everybody a little exercise.

Very Cold for the next few days, then back up into the 20s at least during the day by Saturday.

It is 26f now and cloudy. Supposed to reach 33f but I don't think we will get there. Expecting snow after 4pm and most of the night. They just raised snow totals for here to 2-4". They are still fine tuning the forcast. It seems to change with each new update. I just checked out the radar looks like it is on the way.

Chickens look poofy! All the poop was on one end of the poop board this morning. They are snuggling at night.

@fuzzi You are closer to the shore than me. I'm in southern Edgecombe almost on the Pitt Co line.

Well, now that totally stinks! Why have any snow if a Kid can't have a snow day

One year, many many years ago, we were in pattern where it snowed just about every Wed-Thurs. Me and my brother would run in and out of the house driving my Mother crazy, just hoping we'd see it start snowing so we had a good chance of having a long weekend. Each snow was around 4+ inches, so in the shady areas, it would stay a good while. Us and the neighbor girls had snow forts, we'd have battles all weekend. Plus sledding, etc. Fun times.

I hope thay are ready for a snow day tomorrow! At least two of them have never seen snow.
