I can lower the cloth. It's shade cloth, covering the tarps at one end. It's long enough to actually reach the ground.They will be fine. That's not enough moisture to be dangerous.
Can you close the tarp flaps on the sides of your run? Because when it's cold it's not just the air temperature or the snow, it's the wind that makes it so uncomfortable.

A couple of degees above freezing with wind chill most days here in Bristol, UK. I did see the sun for a few seconds this morning and sunrise this morning was spectacular if one was high enough up the Avon valley to see it.
