Not chicken related... but I need to rant!

This is my contribution to internet "You had one job" memes...

This is under my house, that black pipe is the shower drain. My new shower was installed over a year ago, and apparently it's been draining UNDER my house since!

Last week I requested an estimate for a vapor barrier from a crawlspace contractor. He came on Friday, informed me about a pipe leaking, and that one of my HVAC ducts disconnected. HVAC technician took this photo today, suggested I get a plumber (already scheduled for tomorrow). Ductwork needed to be replaced due to this quality installation!

Last year I could not find a contractor interested in doing a tub to shower conversion, so I hired a handyman who was highly recommended. So now I have no recourse.

I'm beyond angry.

Are those electrical wires wrapped around that comically wrong drain pipe?

Wow, what an oversight! Was your crawlspace swamped out, or was the ground absorbing the worst of it?

Oh my! So sorry!
If this area has been staying wet for some time, please make sure there is no mold. Hopefully if there is good ventilation there will be none.

We had a total loss from hurricane flooding years ago. Couldn't get in for days. By the time we could start work many things were destroyed by mold. It can cause respiratory problems for humans and animals.

I know you are upset. I would be too.
