fuzzi's Chicken Journal

Most of the time I have to go up half a size to get a decent fitting shoe. Boots are generally too narrow across the toes, too wide in the heel for my feet. For the last 20 years I have been wearing Skechers sneakers as they actually FIT. That's also why I am so happy with my croc shoes from Aldi's, despite them being pink ;) @Shadrach
I buy womens shoes more often than not, especially when it comes to working/walking boots. I'm EU size 39 and just under UK size 6. If I get six months out of a boot they're doing well. I've tried cheap to expensive and the longevity is about the same. I'm hard on my boots and work clothes. I just expect them to do what they are supposed to with little care.

Wow half size down? That would squeeze my toes.
The half size down only works (for me) on basic rubber boots and dressy boots. Whereas cowboy boots are another story! Still shopping for some comfortable ones there, true to size. Maybe someday I will find the glass slipper that fits - cowboy boot version! Btw- have you seen any snow yet up north?

@fuzzi gotta love those pink crocs, and congratulations on that pretty little egg!

They're mauve ;)

...but thank you.

I'm thinking that's a pullet egg, the hens already know about the boxes.
Marvelous Mauve!!!

Now I need to go shop for some Lipstick. My goodness, you guy are making me want to spend money🤣
