I have messed around with writing, but haven't had any big ideas on what to write... and I have a block with my other book.

Hey everyone! Glad you liked the pictures, if you look close at rooster in the nest he has a yellow chick head coming out of his left wing and a black one coming out in front! Lol.... It's crazy! Nova you do have a lake, glad you love your chickens or they would be in need of life jackets! Hannah nice to hear from you, I thought my chickens had it rough with the wet mud but I'm not gonna complain any more...have good day

This is the first time in 4 years that it has done this. The surveyor was out last year and said we wouldn't need flood ins... hm...

that rooster looks like a little version of the one that i miss. He liked babies, too. Idk if he'd go that far, but he certainly protected the TSC chicks from the hens and fed them first sometimes.

Goat has survived! I thought he was dying last night, had to physically drag him out of his house and do a drench on him. Today he greeted us at the gate and talked, and was actually spunky! I think the drench i used was "power punch", it had probiotics in it too. But i really thought i was looking at a dead goat yesterday, wasn't moving and when i got him out his eyes were dead and bloodshot. DH wasn't there so don't believe me, but that goat knows he owes me one! The ivomec hasn't knocked all the lice off yet, but has made a significant dent. I think getting the meds plus the probos is what saved his hide.

I'm gonna try to take pics tomorrow, sooooooo mad about the whole situation. With the other guy, with my guy too. It's really hard on me anytime i have to make these kinds of decisions, i haven't slept well at all the last couple days b/c of the stress of trying to think my way through how goats work and which path would be the best.........

Fuzzy I'm so glad you are taking care of that goat. I've never been around goats but I think they are cute. Hope it gets better soon. Nova thanks for posting my pics. Has everyone found the chicks yet? Lol... Went to shut them up for the night and he was doing his job! Lol.. The chicks even jump on his back and set there! It's crazy! Will try to get a picture of that! Have great evening! Nova I think you need a canoe. Or waders!
