Thank you for your feedback! My house is at 51% humidity right now, what would you suggest? Is that on the high or low end?

Per google, 50-60% is good humidity for a greenhouse. So you are on the low end of the good range. So, that being the case, once they pop up, take the top off, and keep an eye on them to make sure they don't dry out. Mist a few times a day if you're around to do so and think about it.

Roots. Might be the zucchini's... squash can grow very fast.

My seeds haven't come yet but I did plant a few herbs. I'm getting a few live organic herb plants this weekend.

I just got some new chickie babies so I've had no time to start some seeds early.

I looked at walmart yesterday when I was there getting some other stuff and they already have the veggies and they are outside... guess if they are handling the cold nights ok at walmart then they are ready for cold nights in the ground. Right?

I often look at what stores have sitting outside to judge if it's warm enough to put out certain plants. So in most cases that works pretty well as a guideline. The only trick is some places push plant displays back under cover at night, or large nurseries will close up certain areas at night, but that's less common.

Well everything is indoors still cause we're getting 30's overnight all this week but.... This is how it's going.



I did till about 20sqft of garden bed today - this is the area the peas are going in and it's time to get them in! Beans will go in, in a couple weeks. Starting corn and melons indoors this weekend.

And someone asked what my seed starting setup looks like right now a long while back. This is what it looks like. All three of the left shelves have lighting, the top two of the right shelf has lighting. The top two left and the top right all have T5's (left 4' 4-bulb, right 2' 1-bulb), the rest are jury rigged.
