These were all taken at the golf course/park we take care of. I need to get some new pictures, love to get some of the baby antelope but those little guys are super fast!
Awesome! The antelope seem to have long faces!

Snowing here today. Enough, already.

Sorry LG, you guys are sure getting it.
For one year it isn't Wisconsin getting dumped with snow throughout March. I'm sorry others are taking it, but I'm giddy we aren't for once. Now the East coast knows what it's like to live in Wisconsin, well not totally because we get months and months of snow that doesn't melt off in between.

I'm enjoying watching the snow magically going around us. Temperatures here are in the 30-40's during the day. It is wonderful.

I enjoyed the guy on the news saying he's had enough, he's been shoveling snow for a month already, and can't take it. We shovel for 4-6 months a year.

I always feel for others getting the brunt of Mother nature (one of the ultimate unpredictables). My wife and I have lived in a lot of places over the years and they all had their moments-too hot, too cold, hurricanes, tornadoes, forest fires, floods, snow-and sometimes or oftentimes those moments were too long. But it was home, and one thing I have found no matter where you live is that everyone loves to talk (and usually b****) about the weather!

@lazy gardener, hope spring and a little sunshine comes your way soon . We are making our first trek ever to Maine this year and I don't want to pack snowshoes :D

We are always looking for ways to recycle and repurpose. We have been saving plastic berry containers for the day we could find a use for them. Over the winter we started sprouting oats and wheat for the flock (and us) in them and they work perfectly. We had been using sprouting trays before and they were messy and had too much waste. These are a one day serving and all the chaff flushes out of the container when watered. We also use mason jars with screen lids as starters and then dump them into the plastic berry containers to continue sprouting. This is probably not a new idea, but haven't seen it before.

When are you coming. What area of the state will you be visiting. Be sure you take some time for a good lobstah feed.

Mid-late September so we shouldn't need snowshoes. Hiking 100 miles of coastal trail through Acadia NP and hoping for some fall color. I'm deathly allergic to shrimp but I don't know what that means for lobster. I might get tested to be sure. My wife will eat lobstah in front of me every chance she gets!

No. No snow shoes needed in Sept.! I'd be mighty cautious if you are allergic to shrimp. I can eat lobstah, shrimp and crab, but am very allergic to scallops. So, I will not eat a bivalve or escargot. Have done squid, but got sick on that. That may have been due to other issues though. No desire to try squid again! My hubby eats lobster, but is not overly fond of it. It's best when eaten without the butter or mayo that people tend to ruin it with.
