Gender and sexing questions..

Hello all! I rescue animals who need a good home and today I picked up 2 geese. I was told they were Pilgrim Geese. After picking them up I quickly realized they were not pilgrim geese but what I believe to be African Geese.
Can anyone give me some insight of what they might be as to breed and gender... they just turned 1 according to the woman I got them from. I'll attach some pics for reference.
They are almost identical in all features unless you look and listen carefully..
One is definitely larger than the other, one hisses, ones call is MUCH louder than the other, one is curious the other is observant, ones knob is slightly larger, and ones feet is quite a bit larger, and one last thing yet the most clear to me is one has a little red line behind its knob however it is hard to see unless you look carefully.

Look very much like my African geese. Can you get a picture from behind? A goose hangs lower than a gander in the back.

They are hatchery Africans.A video would be very helpful.Females generally make a (oink) sound while the males are higher pitched and more talkative.Like suggested a picture of there under carriage would be helpful.I would say the one that hisses is the male.

Thank you for confirming about African Geese. I was almost certain they were, but these are my first geese so I truly wasnt positive..

Standard African geese have a dewlap.Hatchery African geese are mixed with a brown Chinese goose for higher egg production they also don't have a dewlap.

They are beautiful geese. Larger knob usually means gander high pitch honk I call it a screech is gander my female Toulouse mumbles most of the time. I can't really see much difference in under carriage. But they do look young. Maybe less than a year. But since it's breeding season in most of the US you should begin to see some mating and the gander yells loud when he mates with his mate plus if you look close you might even see the penis can't miss it.
