Well, opening the soffits front and back is really needed. One thing that can be done to improve an "Amish" style coop such as the OverEZ is simply to make it taller. That allows improved ventilation.

True Dat.Yes, which is easier done on a taller build since it's not so close to the roosts.
This one? https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/coop-modification-recommendations.1517556/#post-25543595Someone did a good post about adding front and rear soffits on an OverEZ,
I thought I saved a link but darned if I can find it now.
No width measurement? My guess is it's too small, but hard to tell with incomplete info. If it's around 12' wide then it's big enough for 12. The roosts are too short and layout is suboptimal on roost (enough roost for about 8).This one is now being looked at as a possibility. Is this a good option? Anything you'd change?

I'm starting with 6 girls, coop is 5ftx6ft.No width measurement? My guess is it's too small, but hard to tell with incomplete info. If it's around 12' wide then it's big enough for 12. The roosts are too short and layout is suboptimal on roost (enough roost for about 8).
Yes, thanks you!
Looks pretty small.....and lousy interior design. This one is now being looked at as a possibility. Is this a good option? Anything you'd change?
