One thing that can be done to improve an "Amish" style coop such as the OverEZ is simply to make it taller. That allows improved ventilation.

Yes, which is easier done on a taller build since it's not so close to the roosts.

I've only been in an OverEZ once and though it was theoretically "walk-in", I had to hunch over even though I'm only 5'3".

No width measurement? My guess is it's too small, but hard to tell with incomplete info. If it's around 12' wide then it's big enough for 12. The roosts are too short and layout is suboptimal on roost (enough roost for about 8).

I'm starting with 6 girls, coop is 5ftx6ft.
