That was all really helpful, thank you! Got 50mL of slurried food into him last night and then he drank some additional water by himself as well. Still can't really find his crop, but I did spot the tube going down, so we're both making progress.

OK, wow!! I am not sure I could do this. I cringed watching the video. She has had so much trauma to the head; I would be afraid to do the extending, pinching and getting that tube in. Yikes!

her head doesn't look that bad to me. Look at it this way... how long would it take you to syringe 60-90 ml to her? With a tube you should be able to do it in less than 1 minute, which will be much less stressful for the both of you.
