Looks like PM (Personal Message) was what it was called on the old site. Now you go to the person's account page you want to contact, go to 'Information' (next to 'Profile Posts', 'Recent Activity', 'Postings'), then on that page click on 'Start a Conversation' and type in what you want to say to them. It's a private conversation. Don't worry - I had to go and poke around to work out how to do it! I'm still working out this new site!

Is that your dog in your avatar? I also find my dogs very good at giving advice about the internet. They tell me it's all the other people who are wrong and that I wasn't and I get doggy cuddles and forget about the meanies. Resort to DCT* if the internet gets too much. Chickens are also very good at giving approval, especially if you have mealworms.

So glad you are staying! I have gotten frustrated and hurt feelings too here, not very frequently fortunately! The last time it happened (quite a while ago) I reported the post to the moderators and to my complete surprise they removed the post! Yay! Validation! There will always be thoughtless and disagreeable people in the world to encounter but frankly I have found the vast majority here to be loving, warm, kind, sweet and helpful! In fact to put it more clearly, this is probably the most fun and kind group of people I have ever found on the internet. And we share love of birds in common! Not to mention how much I have learned from everyone!

PS I don't know you yet but I look forward to getting to know you!

Hi everyone I am afraid I have some bad news I well I am Quitting byc I only have a few friend on this website and I feel like everyone is always saying I am doing something wrong plus I can't even earn a badge I will stay on until August first then I will officially leave forever thank you to those who have helped me through any problems I did have I will miss you all so much

I like to visit this site to read the new posts...badge? What us that? if I have one..i don't know/could care less. Sometimes I respond to posts...sometimes i get poop sprayed. I just don't respond or try to justify my comment...its a waste of energy...and I'm on this site for MY enjoyment..dunt got Nuthin to prove. Yaaa...there's a few smarty pants u might run across...i look at it this way: if a person is nasty or uppitty..condesending or rude...they have a personal problem. Believe me when I say this " IT AIN'T ABOUT YOU", some people r just stinkers! Enjoy the site..ignore the negative stuff. Wasn't long ago I got chewed on really bad by some peta animal activist cuz I mentioned I trapped a possum and released it at a wildlife preserve nearby...i did not respond or feel the need to justify or argue my logic to save it as opposed to killing it after it ate 20 of my chickens! I just moved on and read other posts!
