It scares the heck out of me as well, trust me. I'm one of those that even looks at a needle and feels faint. The things I do for these guys, sheesh. I don't know how long to give her though. 24 hours? Where I am, it's cold, how long before she is so aclimated to the house temps. that I won't be able to put her back with the others? They do have an insulated building and she is going to be in the dog crate out there for a bit as well, or at least that's the hope. A heat lamp won't be a problem either. Oh and does she get another calcium tomorrow? Please, please, please, give her a chance to pass the egg, I've heard of the needle technique, but the thought of doing it scares me to death, and I'm one of those that tube feeds and give shots and fluids.
When she's not in the tub, you could also try filling you bathroom with steam.
