Gosh, is anyone else experiencing hot flashes?
How often do you get one?

Sometimes they feel so awful that I wonder if something is wrong or if they really are just hot flashes.
Is that normal?

Funny you should mention that, Boo. I'm 50, and in the past few months have been experiencing warm flashes. Not hot, like the kind I've heard about that bathes you in sweat and makes you leap out the window in -20 degree weather. Just warm, like from inside in a strange way. I've also been a moody snot.

Oh yea, they come and go. I will have them for months, then they go away for months.
Right before vacation, I was in the freezer at work, sweating!

Oh and the memory thing, get confused easily, yep moody.
Don't ask me questions when I am having a hot flash!!
Everything these days are setting off a flash.
Sometimes after the hot flash, I am freezing, cuz its cold now, then my hair gets wet, I'll have fans on and then it goes away and I feel how cold it really is.
Sometimes I have one right after the other.
Lately everytime I have one, I have to go pee.

Oh yea, when I was doing the warm flashes thing, you can feel it travel through you, almost like it has a starting point, moves through you.

Thank goodness each one doesn't last that long,

I don't want to do the hormone thing, what if one month you can't afford them, then you get hit really hard?

People tell me there are creams to try,
maybe I'll just be loopy for a few years, no one will really notice too much difference anyway
