My head rooster got picked on bad, I'm guessing either because he wasn't acting right before and my other cockerel tried to dominate him while he was weak, or the cockerel tried to dominate him just because, and he bled and got bubbles in his eye from infection or something?
I didn't notice this last night, but it was a busy day and I didn't check everyone over as much as usual. I just found him like this hiding in the nest box. It looks fresh to me. It's been pretty cold all day so they've been in the coop most of today too.
Please tell me these bubbles are not a sign of illness and just a result from getting picked on.

Also, what do I do? I can't bring him inside and I'm worried if I wipe his head off he'll get too cold. I've already separated him into a dog crate. All of my other birds look perfectly fine.

@azygous @Eggcessive @Wyorp Rock please help!

that does NOT look normal. I had a chicken who started having bubbles in her eyes and I’m fairly sure she died? we had a lot of black chickens and i wasn’t very attached so I don’t remember to well but i’m fairly sure she died. I remember looking into the bubbling thing online it saying something about needing to isolate the chicken but I’m unsure. I’d definitely have a vet look at that

Thanks for your help!
I know bubbles are a common sign of MG and I'm really hoping it's not that.
He's separated in a crate right now but I haven't done anything else yet. I'm hoping @azygous will chime in soon.

My rooster had bubbles in his eye when it was pecked, his eye was ruptured but not pecked out but he still had the bubbles and he was just fine other than his hurt eye

He just looks beaten up. The bubbles could be just from the pecking and injuries, or he could possibly have symptoms of a respiratory disease such as MG. I would clean him up with some saline eye wash, and apply some Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin ointment twice a day to his eyes and wounds. Does he have any sneezing or noisy breathing?

Phew, thank you.
I haven't brought in any new birds recently, so if it would be something like that it would be from house sparrows. My birds have never had any affirmed respiratory issues before either.
I really hope it's not MG, as I was just getting ready for breeding season. I've paid quite a bit for various sale and disposal permits for my ornamental waterfowl, and selling the young is the only chance I'll have to make any of that money back.
So if it's that that would really stink. It was my initial thought and I've been so stressed out since I found him like that.
I have triple antibiotic ointment, can I use that?
Not that I've noticed. He tried to eat and miserably failed, he couldn't see anything and kept missing. He got some in and make some weird sounds after that, like when birds eat too fast and fling their heads while making that choking sound.
Maybe because he hasn't drank much or something? I don't know how much he's drank today since like I said, I haven't been out with them much. I'll go clean him up and watch him though.

Yeah, he just got beaten up pretty badly. My one rooster who got an eye injury from fighting another rooster, that left him blind in one eye did foam at one point during treatment off, & on. But I'm pretty sure that had to do with either irritation, or the infection he had going on due to me not getting to it soon enough. It was a busy week, it wasn't until about 5 days later I had the time to treat him. His eye smelled of infection, but I managed to save his eye, but he's blind in it now.

I cleaned with mild salt water, & applied Non pain Relieving Triple Antibiotic ointment in his eye every day.
I had ordered terramycin but it was still being shipped at the time, but after I received it, I continued the mild salt water wipe/flush, then applied terramycin. I did this about 1-2 times a day until the tube was gone. By this time he was healed up.
