Granny's gone and done it again

It'll have juices in the crock. Drizzle in oil and just enough water to cover. Then take the meat out when it's done and whisk in a little flour or cornstarch and that's gravy!

Salt and pepper, onion and garlic if you have it. We use onion, bell pepper, and celery in all the Cajun foods. They call it the "holy trinity." :lau so sometimes I use celery salt, and the six pepper has bell pepper in it. But it's spicy.
 
double the acres !  awesome .  sounds like you have your hands full.  are most your chickens layers or do you have some prettys thrown in just because ?


I've got a bit of everything. A trio of Cochin, a couple d'uccle hens, some Welsummers, a BLRW splash rooster, silkies, barnyard mixes, a pekin, naked necks, easter eggers...oh and I have turkeys too lol
