Morning all, off to the races today

In a few hours DD will be married. Have already saw Bridezilla this morning so asking for prayers to make it through the day

I'm going to clean up the house and get the kids set up making Christmas cards. I think that would be fun.

My husband vapes with no nicotine, too. He likes all the fun flavors. And his new stuff has B vitamins, which help with energy, like energy drinks. But, he also smokes cigars when he has the time to commit and the weather isn't cruddy.

Granny, you can get vape flavors with nicotine. I know several people that have been able to quit or nearly quit smoking and only use a little or no nicotine now. Start up can be expensive if you want something fancy, but a lot of people sell their old set ups cheap when they upgrade. That's how my husband got into it.

Yep - vaping is a trend that is about more than the nicotine/smoking alternative --- a lot of folks like the flavors, etc and have never smoked a day in their life.

lol we have lentil soup in the fridge here XD had black beans last night

Mmmmm, soup. I just bought a ton of ingredients for a curried lentil soup -- making gift jars for Christmas, but it smells so good I just might "have" to save one for our house. That is the best part of the cold weather is making all the yummy soups and stews.

DD is still here.she plans on staying i think and i hope so.she is alot of help for me..With DH being sick it was a blessing when she came,hopefully it will be a while.

her oldest is 26 youngest is 13.she goes to lexington a lot to see them and they were all here Thanksgiving.her son the one 13 stays with his dad.Thanksgiving was a hard time here i hardly remember who all was here...Thats when we buried my bil and everyone came back to my house.i'm lucky i had all the left overs for them..They had good food and i was happy to see them.some i hadn't met before like my nieces now have hubbys and children.

I spent the day in town with bestie, shopping and browsing. I managed to mostly stick to this horrible but effective diet. We made lots of plans. I have a lot of cleaning and organizing to do today.

Well, barely up and around and already blew it for the day, lol. Was just sitting here trying to remember what I had planned to make for dinner tonight, finally gave up and went to look at the meal plan I did and, OOPS, turns out was supposed to be pulled pork --- which would mean I'd have had to take the pork out of the freezer in time to thaw and then be covered in rub, wrapped and left to sit at least overnight last night.......which, since I didn't remember what was for dinner, clearly didn't happen.

Now to decide what WILL be for dinner..........
