Great idea Good luck to those who make through them all. I'm afraid I did not and just hopped on
While clipping feathers on weds noticed that I have 2/3? australorp roos which were very nice sized already. The wyandotts are not as heavy bodied and are pretty scruffy looking yet but supposed to be great tasting will lest you know. Can't sex the light brahmas at all yet. Have one cinnamon queen/golden comet roo who is very large and noisy but seems really nice to the "girls" to bad he is either being rehomed or going to freezer camp.
Those sexlink type birds seem to be good calm birds. I had a golden comet that was a real sweetie.
She would love it!
To granny and chicken lady. I am single never married close a couple times but then I woke up LOL. I have 2 younger brothers and a younger sister. Mother passed when I was 28 (she 52) and dad passed when I was 32 and he was 62. Religon is very important to me but don't preach just try to be the best person I can be. FAMILY comes FIRST always and forever. way we were raised. Love to cook . bake, can. Read and play games. Also very perverted. LOL Also hate throwing out anything that can be repurposed I call my self frugal other might call me cheap. Not as cheap as my brother tho who will squeeze a nickel until it poops 6 pennies. He is the father of the nephew I have living and working for me the past 14 months. Also about 6 ft tall and around the 210 to 220 mark, thinning blondish hair , hazel eyes, and moustashe. Size 8 1/2 shoe, about a 34 inch inseam. No broken bones ever that I am aware of.
OMG sounds like a personals add maybe I should copy and paste on e-harmony LOL
They certainly are, red sex links or warrens as they are called over here are what got me started in this whole chicken business!! Amy and Penny they were called and were so calm and friendly. My Mum has 2 now and they are just great, she has called them Winnie and Brenda. She got her first egg the day after she brought them home and they have not stopped since.
Yes seems very "gentle" but also very loud and wouldn't breed true. The only possible breeding mutt allowed on the farm is me.
We call it frugal too.
welcome back granny where were you?? I didn't say anything bad about you Just sat here and quietly and behaved myself.
used the old screen doors from the motel to divide the smaller part of the main coop into feed/storage and the brooder room.
