This hatch here is taking forever
th.gif

Never had one so slow, 5 out so far. 2 blacktail cockerels who are getting the chop when they come out of the incubator. 1 female blacktail and 2 lavender Pekin who are super cute. One of the Pekin is a bit glued and not fluffing up so that's going to get a wash when I get them out. The only Orpington egg is pipped and one other blacktail is pipped. Last egg does not seem to be doing anything. Will be glad when this hatch is over!!

I bet. having to cull them right after they are born cant be easy. I am very weak. had fever last night .

Other half going to do it for me, if they were sick it would not bother me but cute little fluff balls........

Infection? Get something to eat or at least plenty of fluids

My stomach cant handle anything just yet. Glad you have your DH to do it. I used the scissors on my little sick one but it was almost gone then .

BYC is messing with me!

Welcome home Mare! Glad to have you back. How many pages?

Too many to count, I gave up

NO WAY you managed to read everything post since you were gone

IF so I am really impressed

LOL - no - I went back pretty far, but didn't go back *that* far

it has been so long since I have gone to the bathroom without and "audience" I am not sure I can any more.

my own fault when house breaking they go in with me as I don't trust them to take my eyes off them.

I can tell Robert is my kid. Took him a pizza and turned to leave I walked into the door jam. He threw his headphones was cracking up. Brat

LOL, you okay? We had a sign on one of the doors in the office I used to work out - it said "Caution, DOOR" - we put it up after one of our staff walked into it for the third time.
a week later. LOL at least its done right ? did she say you were too late ? hahaaa

HOLY cow fields its raining !
barnie.gif
This rain - will it never end? It didn't rain this much when I lived in Oregon, and they are known for their "liquid sunshine"

so what would happen if your son decided to put the "child" up for adoption ?? on the grounds that he is to young for a child and needs to mature first

After all, we always want people to consider "all their options" when faced with an unplanned pregnancy, right?

Wonder if they have the occasional "good baby" that sleeps a lot and isn't fussy? That would be like winning the lottery. I think it's a good exercise to see how much it interrupts the average teen life, but you can't interact with it like a real baby- no eye contact, no yummy little fingers and toes, no lovely after bath baby smell. You only get the hard part and none of the reward. But I guess that's kind of the point.
Ah, yes, the "sucker baby" - I am of the belief that for most people the first baby is that sucker baby -- I know my oldest was. She was such an easy baby and I thought, "Oh, this will be so easy" when faced with #2, WRONG - he was the opposite in every way.....note there is no #3, lol.

Good morning! I was finally smart and took some ibuprofen before bed. My foot and back both feel much better today. Gong to be hot today, so need to get out there and get chores done early. Kind of breezy and even I am feeling some allergy symptoms, even though I almost never have a problem with them. sniff sniff
Allergies are the devil. Don't ever come out this way, apparently the Ohio River Valley is a "hotzone" for allergies.....I have never had as much of an issue as I do living out here, even in the heart of the Willamette Valley agricultural area where EVERYTHING is green and blooming.

morning Mare, I wonder if he took that baby to the police and left it if he could claim safe haven or whatever that is called where you cant get in trouble for leaving a baby. What could the school do ? LOL

If TSC carries oat I havent seen it. I will try to find some .
If you ever make it out towards Scottsburg go into the little feed place there off to the right just as you go into town - much better than TSC on price and product range. Whole grains are found more in the livestock areas than poultry areas - folks use them for horses a lot.

and then after I cover Porter's horns I can say to people "LOOK AT THE BALLS ON HIM "

That alone makes the GF worth it!
