Come visit. You are missing out!!

sashimi (Japanese) is slices of raw fish. Very fresh, so it doesn't smell at all, and consequently, doesn't taste like much either. I don't waste my money.

ceviche (Mexican) chopped fish and or shrimp marinated in lime juice (which effectively "cooks" it) with onion, tomato, jalapeno pepper, and cilantro, eaten on tortilla chips, with avocado if you're lucky.

wonton (Chinese) little dumplings, bit of meat- usually ground pork, with spices and other mysterious asian tidbits, wrapped in a very thin wrapper of dough, cooked in chicken broth with added veggies and other bits of goodies. Chinese version of chicken noodle soup.

I know the soup !!! hahaaa

Quote: We are lucky to get half that amount. Won't expect any rain now until the end of October.

This article is really neat, too. About all the floods a few months back. In March some parts of the state had reached around half of their rainfall for the year. We're getting 1,000 year weather patterns apparently.

See? You are taking all our rain! 4+ years of drought. Give it back!!

Just fed some bluberries to Buster and the chicks. Never seen a hen so torn. You could tell she wanted to eat them, but kept breaking them apart for the chicks who would come zooming by and grab what they could, usually too big. Buster only ate them when all 3 chicks were not cheeping and working on their own berry. So sweet. Now that I have a reliable mommy, I better start working on a new coop! I think I could do this every year!
