I had a puppy that I ended up calling PITA ( pain in theass ). It fit him his whole life.

I finally had to rehome him because he absolutely would not house train. And where I lived he could not be kenneled outside.

I'm thinking of downsizing my flock. I responded to a guy on fb who was looking for chickens, told him I have speckled sussex pullets that are 3-4 months old, for $25 each. He didn't panic at the price. If he comes out to buy them I'll probably offer him some EEs and mixed pullets, too. EEs and mixed are 5 mos old, I'm thinking $15 or $18 on them?

These are 5 months old on Friday, so they could have another month or more or less. You know how it is. :/

Ribbit to you too... I have been trying to catch up with the 5000 posts you guys have managed to write while I am actually working at work... This week has been quite busy with preparing with a trade show. So, no time to play on here, except trying to read see what is going on...
I was just Haaaa-ing on all the happenings, the photo of Twisted in particular since he seems to be the rooster of this band, and thought to myself that he has a really cute dog.

I have also been working with DH to get the new area ready for the girls so that we can bring them from the old house. They have been living alone there for the last 2 weeks. DH stops in the morning or evening on his way to work to give them scratch and water, and check on them. A couple years ago, we got an automatic (light controlled) door for their coop because we worked past sunset, and now we don't have to worry about that. It opens like clockwork in the AM and closes after they go to bed. But it's still wrong for them to be alone there. So yesterday we got materials for the fence (got some cheap on Craigslist and completed with a trip to Lowes), DH set the posts and gate, then we added the doors and trim to the coop. It's almost finished. Now, DH needs to install the chicken wire to the fence, and I need to finish the trim, then move the chickens with their automatic door and we will be good to go, I aim for Sunday.

Twist, you do look friendly. A man who loves dogs is always a good catch!

I agree with you, Enola. Good guys finish last? I hope not, but a nice looking guy who loves dogs and has 40 acres should find true love!

Aww crap granny, you sure didn't need that. Me thinks a new name needs to be added to the list. If it was my dog her new name would be Dumb@ss or REALLY As in I rescue you, treat you for fleas, bathe you, feed you, give you a comfy chair to sleep in and this is how you reward me
