Making me want to go on a road trip... ;)

If you're saying that to me, that would be one heck of a road trip, esp on the way back with chickens. :lau

This is just an estimate... Give or take several hours. ;)

No name just crapped the front room full. Looks like the first time she had gone in a month. She has been out twice. so not house broke.

We adopted a sweet girl about 2 months ago, she was absolutely not house trained. It's difficult but doable. She goes outside for #1 perfectly, but has used the screened porch for #2 a few times, still better than inside... She comes to the office every day and is perfect here.
Named her Daisy, she is Basset Hound and maybe Catahoula mix. White with brindle patches. You are welcome to use Daisy, or if you like girly names for dogs, Violet. My little Bichon who died last year at age 18 1/2 was Chloe. Also had a Lily years ago who was a Pyrenees. You can add those to the mix too!
Please repost a pic of No Name, I am sure you posted one while I was so dang busy, and I must have missed some pages...

NW Arkansas is actually doable!! We travel to Iowa twice a year and (depending on route) probably get pretty close to you. Maybe I can bring you some hatching eggs if they lay through the winter. :D

Added the map!

Sorry granny for taking pot shots at you already this morning :plbb Sounds like Tom is needing to go back to see his heart doctor. I know, he won't agree to that lol. I am really sorry that you have a huge mess to clean up. She had to choose the nicest room in the house thats for when company comes. She seems to think she is a Princess (good name to) I would be  under a chair if I was her.

Ah that's a bittie trip!! I did Calgary - San Diego many a times...and Calgary-Ottawa a couple times too. Hitch up the trailer I'm off to see the chickens the wonderful chickens of shaws ;)

I know with peach, I had a heck of a time potty training her cause she would be so subtle in her clues of "need to go outside" that I'd miss em. So I trained her to "ring her bells" - hung up a jingle collar on the door and every time we'd go out we'd ring it. She picked up on that pretty quick. Not sure if that's a problem granny but *shrugs*

Hi Star, I have a niece that uses the sleigh bells on the doorknob as well. Pretty cool that your pets can be trained to go jiggle them when they need to go out.

Raining here today, so I'm going to declare it as a reason to be lazy. Still sitting in my jammers drinking coffee. When I let the girls out this morning they headed right to the nasty puddles to drink, yuck! Decided there was no reason to give them fresh water in their dishes today when they were perfectly content to drink nasty poo water out of their crators. Note to self, need to buy wood chips to put down in the run temporarily. Once I change out my sand in the coop to shavings for the winter I will add the old sand to the run. Plus thru the winter whenever I change the shavings, I put them out in the run so the birds have something to walk on besides snow.

What's everybodies plan for the day? Hopefully granny will get done cleaning up her front room soon. Getting kinda lonely on here. I don't have your Charisma granny girl, nobody wants to talk to me
