Haven't even had time to deal with all my roosters. My poor hens are being manhandled by way too many roosters. It is constant ruckus.

yes down about 10 hens of various ages BUT the babies are safe.

We were ALL RIGHT it was the cinnamon queens killing the chicks and some of the adults but caught and SHOT the largest offended this am


Was ha HUGE Boar Raccoon. must have weighed about 30 lbs, He is in the burn pit now. Rod was going to rebait the trap again tonight but I honestly think/hope since it was a big male there aren't any others around.

What is creamed cuke ? Is that in the blender ?

My chicks were about that size H20. too young. They were ok by themselves in a cage outside as long as it wasnt too hot but they were not ready for a big coop. Is the brown polish supposed to be tolbunt ? Its starting to look a little candy corn. very pretty.

I like cukes just sliced into vinegar and a little pepper and water, plain with salt and pepper, cuke salad, dipped in ranch dressing, as a relish or just about any way I can get them

I do usually seed them out and peel them if the skins are tuff or thick

Yep brown one is suppose to be Tolbunt one is a buff lace. Then I have a polish without a topknot or vault.

I also have a picked cuke salad recipe with onion and peppers (bell type) keeps for month and month in fridge and still good.
