Well, I *was* headed that way - but as I went through the kitchen to turn off lights I passed the back door and saw this little refugee on the porch....... We've walked the property and checked the ditch line up and down the road a fair bit and found no others or any mama dog looking for her, so looks like she'll be taking up residence in the master bath (my go-to quarantine room for all foundlings - sad that we use it often enough that it's routine at this point). Animal control won't be back in the office or reachable for pick-up until Monday morning. Poor thing is so nervous and timid, but she sure took a shine to DS (that's his lap she's in), she had a little food and a drink and curled up in his lap and was out like a light.
OMG! So cute! A puppy? Or adult? SHAME on somebody!

Everyone if you see me logged in and I'm not posting or answering back, I'm not stalking, I'm just not logged out. I forget to a lot and I'm not even sure my phones letting me log out. So how is everyone doing tonight? Granny sounds like you're trying to put yourself in a diabetic comma? That's nothing to be playing around with.

Good Morning all.

And another fox bites the dust.   :celebrate

Well granny catching Beth in the act would be ideal.   But, I know she knows better or she would run and hide when I yell who did this??  Evil little twerp.    She might be safe this am as everyone has muddy/dirty feet from running to a bare spot by the back fence and having a bark fest with the neighbor/s great dane .  Bet everyone loved it at 6:45 am.  Girls seem much noisier now that Yuri is back to "protect" them.

NEED MORE COFFEE...........:th

One day last week I came home from work and was met with silence..... No barking dogs..... I actually thought some one had broken in and killed the dogs!!!!!

Then I saw all the kitchen trash strewn all over the kitchen! They had torn the trash UP!!!! All three dogs were under the couch cover hiding. When I yelled who did this????? They jumped off of he couch and headed for under the bed. The throw stayed on them most of the way across the living room!......

DH is diabetic. You should be checking your blood sugar a couple times a day. Especially if you are having problems.

Tell the Dr when you go! Make a list if you need to!

Oh, and some people who are really hard core hatchers get a second styrofoam incubator to hatch in.  No turner needed and keeps the other incubator clean.  These of course, are for people who hatch for 6-7 months out of the year.  It's an obsession!  Be careful, grey mare, that you don't become a hatchaholic!

I have 3 styrofoam incubators. Two used to be full all of the time. The third one was only for hatching. I have a loner in the hatching one to keep it clean. My oldest incubator has been used for four seasons. I don't have any idea how many chicks I have hatched, but a lot of them.

I agree, unless you know the person selling a used incubator, very well, don't buy a used styrofoam incubator.

I just had the hardest time signing in to BYC! It kept telling me there was a problem and to contact support. I thought for a moment someone banned me.
