I m in the south remember. Not many days below freezing. My pens are chicken wire with tin roofs. I put up tarps on 3.5 sides in winter.

no, I dont remember stuff like that. sorry. Do they get too hot ? I have tons of run room none of them are even using the coop. they will this winter I guess.

good morning all

Fixed a lamp from one of the rooms by destroying a stand lamp of same style I had in the basement. Second load of laundry in washer, loaded dish washer with drinking glasses from the rooms. Called INS man about the farm ins as there was a $300.oo INCREASE from last year BUT found out that is because the Yak ins is now in my main policy (so actually cheaper then last year) ALso there is a requirement called "green equipment" $35.00 a year CAN NOT opt out. It is in case of a fire you can/have to replace with "green" /energy efficient appliances. FARKING GOVERNMENT
