And you are taking care of them single handed?  We need to change your name to SuperChickenLady!
Not feeling very soper at the moment. Wonder how I did everything years ago with my own young children & ran a daycare. Hubby worked crazy hours so I did the outdoor stuff too. I have always taken care of the yard, garden & driveway in the winter. I would much rather dig a ditch than do a sink full of dishes. Im just a outdoor person. I look at my daughter who works a very stressful job. Takes care of 3 kids, the house, cooking cleaning & wipes Hubby's nose & butt. I applaud all the working woman of this world. You are the ones that have to be Superwomen.

Hi there @Mutt Farm

Nice you could join us, will you still be over in the new members too?

Afternoon @ChickenLady2014 Hope your feeling better soon and the headache passes, have you taken something for it? :hugs
Thank you York, I have taken something & finally got something to eat. Now if only I could be able to brush my teeth & get a shower :lau

I never cease to be amazed at the energy of young boys. I spent two months baby sitting 3 year old and a 5 year old. I was mentally, physically and emotionally drained when I got home. How did I take care of 4 kids, the house, the cooking, the laundry, the farm, a kennel full of dogs and a rabbitry with 28 breeding does? Mind boggling to say the least!

I know you did it and how women still do it, a single word- YOUTH. There's a reason why most people don't have babies when they're pushing 40, I know first hand.

I could pull all-nighters in college no problem, but up at 4 am nursing an infant at 38 just about killed me.

Thankyou wishing. Oh wishing, reading that just had me in stiches with your backend hanging out of the run, all sorts of visions over here :lau

That's good you were able to cure him of his chicken chasing, mothers dog is a terrier and never been round chickens untill this spring. He's rather unruled and a law unto himself most of the time. Yesterday's incident was my dads fault, he thought he had shut the gate but he hadn't and patch the dog got in. Luckily my dad was there and could get the dog off her before he killed her. Patch got a taste when he killed the first one, but only my mother was in and she is not strong enough to get the dog off. She had breast cancer and had a mastectomy plus all the lymph nodes removed which now causes lymphadema in her arm so she has no strength to get hold of the dog. After that he has got worse and worse. He's just possessed with them and wants to kill.

It's good scooter thought it was hen that got him, I bet that did the trick with him. Made him wary of them, if only that would happen with patch.
Love pics, Everyone looks very happy!! Scooter looks so energetic in the bottom pic.

That's how old I was when I started raising my newborn granddaughter. So my dd could finish high school & get a good job.

Backing out wasn't too much trouble, only a little wiggling needed!

I am what you might call bottom heavy. It's where I store my emergency survival kit!
