Well the son and grandson arrived at 2:30 yesterday afternoon. Had a meal all cooked for them. There is plenty of room at my place to park his semi rig, but there is a tree branch that the rig couldn't get under. So we had to take the truck to Walmart and park the trailer there. The manager let him park his trailer with the store fleet trucks for safety.

Then we spent part of he afternoon getting the crapy couch out of the living room and bringing a bed out of the junk room for Mike to sleep on. He has slept all night and says his back feels better all ready. It is much easier for him to prop his feet up too!

I was just looking at those meaties that are supposed to weigh 24 lbs. she cant prove it  . someone else weighed half of the chicken she shared . at 13 lbs. It looks good and she is proud of them. I guess thats what matters.

Look at the one that shows her hand while she is holding it. In order for that chicken to be 24 pounds, she would have to be as big as the Hulk. There is just no way that chicken is any bigger than 7-8 pounds.

You'll have to tell him to wait a little longer on the sticky buns. I am not supposed to push and pull anything so that leaves out making bread from scratch. They said don't do anything till after the heart Dr says ok.

Made from scratch. Hmmm. Actually you can make bread with chicken scratch ingedients. Hmmm.

The kneading is the best part of making bread, hope you are able to be back at it asap

morning all, she does help. a lot. I called the owners of the owl, they are coming to pick him up in an hour. they were well aware of the law. they didnt care I dont even get a picture.

. Lily is also giving me much trouble. the little rain yesterday and she refused to go out Robert had to drag her out. she stood there for a long time, disappeared and we let her in. straight to the front room and peed.

Maybe the people will give you visitation rights to the owl, or you can owl-sit if they ever need to travel.

Too bad about Lily. Maybe Mutt will have some training ideas. The only way I know to housebreak a dog is to keep them confined or on a leash at all times while in the house. Take them outside on a leash every couple of hours and praise lavishly when they pee/poo. Robert's the only one who would be able to do this, it will be really hard without his help. It's going to be a long winter if Lily keeps using your house as a toilet.

(Do the owl people want a dog?)

You can probably find how to replace a brake line on YouTube. For a long time I thought my hubs was some sort of a mechanical gugru, he could fix anything! Come to find he does a lot of online research first. He says YouTube is a good resource.
