That is pretty disgusting. (shaking my head) I hope you charged them twice what the job was worth. LOL  I too did this sort of thing out of necessity. I can remember my last day of housekeeping a couple of years ago....I walked into a house and had a panic attack....I just couldn't do it anymore!! :barnie
That's sick enola. I'd be embarrassed for someone to clean my house like that. No way could I just walk around it everyday. Sure couldn't eat with mess in the floor.

.

Already tried that! He went in with me at the feed store..... They had a whole bunch of chicks in a tub...... What are Easter eggers he says. They lay blue eggs says the store keeper. So we leave with two EE pullets. That of course turned out to be roosters. So we try again and guess what???!!!! Another rooster! No more LF chicks for him!!!

I got lucky with feed store pullets. I got 3 BO's right around the corner. My Pops came home from a feed store with 3 EE's. All pullets. Whew. Anyhoo...I read your posts.

And the others. Addiction is an ugly thing. And like Red said, it seems to affect every family. IMHO, it's harder on the sober ones to cope than it is on the addict. Then there's the children. Breaks my heart. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to stop using drugs.

Hope granny reads this part, me thinks she and Robert might be over the moon with an Aussie.
You had an Aussie. Star.

Great story. Why was she 3 legged? I'd love to hear about her. I pictured her handing the Dal it's "ego" I have 2. DB is my ranch Aussie dog. About 55 lbs. Absolute cuddly lover if he knows you, good off the property, but kiss your knickers goodbye if you don't belong. Great guardian dog too. He alerts when anything is near the fence or just isn't right. Both neighbors had flocks of turkeys and a few goats destroyed by coyote packs. One had a big Mastiff that slept through it. That Mastiff USED TO charge my fence at the horses. I let DB out and it was game on! DB grabbed his lips through the chain link. He steers clear of my fence now. I don't need to shut gates or use a leash for either one. Bindy is my bestie, my constant companion. If I sit or lie down she will not leave the room. If I have a night terror she wakes me up. She also ignores the chickens and horses when I go to the barn and schools on the stupid dogs that come in for training.
