I'm missing a sussex hen. They've all been spending a lot of time in the woods across the road. I'm hoping she's broody over there. The roo had everyone under the big gardenia. I walked the yard and didn't find any feathers.

Question is it wrong to be jealous of all the water Enola has??? Sooooo very dry here, grass crunches when you walk on it. My "Seasonal" creek is down to a few mud holes will a little nasty stinky water in the middle. We are about 4 inches behind for the year and our averages is about 15 inches a year total. Be CAREFUL Enola.

I figured out why I am not getting email notifications but can't figure out how to fix the problem. I kind of accidently on purpose sent the BYC newsletter to the spam container so now yahoo send all byc stuff straight to spam heaven.

That's very bad. 10 days of rain they've had was already too much. Hurricane is like dumping a bucket of water on a wet sponge. Hope no one else dies. Stay safe enola! Red too! It can't last forever.

Just got to my mom's and watched the weather. I'm fine right now on NC. Enola y'all stay safe. SC is in terrible shape. Praying for the whole state. Enola you get somewhere safe and stay put.

Camping didn't you have a hen that was "thinking" about being broody ??? Might also explain the lack of eggs you are finding, Broody hen's will "invite" other hens to lay in their nest. At least that is what mine have done.
