He was great. Very quiet, not surprising for a duck dog. He's on the medium kennel, which is too small. My broody is in the big kennel, so I've got to get them switched.

He opened the food box (big Rubbermaid) this morning and had his whole head in. :lau so I went ahead and fed him. Then I had both sit and lay down for cookies. When I tell him to kennel he jumps on top of the cage. I have to wrestle him in. :/ I think "kennel" was his duck blind command?

I made him sit beside me this morning when I let the chickens out. He did ok. Then we went to the front yard; he was running and I noticed a few hens had slipped under the fence. I called him back. We did that a few times and he did great. Then a bunch of pullets started running straight for me, so I just brought him inside. Too much temptation.

I'm going to get eggs from the lady up the road. I'm not getting enough to feed him, or us. And groceries. Unlike y'all I :love LOVE :love shopping, groceries or otherwise. :D

Here's a pic of him this morning:

Camping we had a choc lab once. Now we have a brindle boxer named Bama, a border collie pyreneese mix named Bella and a chiaweenie named Spike.
