LOL! My grandmother told me that if it has tires or testicles it will give you trouble. hope that diswasher is LOUD!
HOT here today! I'm Woodcrest. Here's the temp at 4pm yesterday. Oct 9. Really?
What makes that one look fertilized? I'm clueless and don't have roo's?.
Currently 93° here. Almost 4pm.
Cleaned out the coop in the heat of the day. Yep I'm that smart lol. Brooder is fixed and almost ready for storage (since the nuggets don't need it anymore)
Seven eggs this morning = no more freeloaders (except sparkles and noodlehead and they don't count cause they're still nuggets and noodlehead is a roo)
The white spot with the slightly darker yolk around it....I've heard the "bullseye" is a sign of fertilized egg.
I went to my favorite junk store today. They have these big gorgeous window frames and she said she'd do $8 for the ones without glass. So I realized after I got home that I could use three RIGHT NOW. But she's only open on weekends. So, I'll have to wait.
I was hit with a vision of the most awesome and adorable mini coop for my backyard. I think it would double my capacity, and I think I have all the materials but hardware cloth.
Thank you mutt, love them all. Including the dust mop with a beak
not sure what that is but bullseye is the white spot with a white ring around it. Im not seeing the white ring but my eyes arent great either.
What dogs do you have Ol Mare? It's so dry here we don't even have fleas! The lawn rats, (ground squirrels) meet their fate at the property line. We put the long lasting bug killer on the lawn and don't need to use flea treatment. I brought a couple pups in from TX 2 years ago that were LOADED with tick larve. They had erlichia too. I had ticks hatching everywhere. Had to shut my whole place down for 2 mos to break the cycle. Do you use heartworm preventative? Where I am, the HW cases are incredibly rare. I don't use it. I have 3 Aussies and they can't have ivermectin.
We got 6 today too - of course that means I had 15 free-loaders Molting is killing production - maybe it's time to go into the feather duster business instead.
