my poor cat Shadow, the one i posted a picture of, . he has been crying around the house for about a week. he wants something and i didnt know what it was. he acted like he was starving to death and i keep food down for all my pets 24/7 and water too. then today it seems as if he has dropped some weight. I gave him some soft treats and he about swallowed them whole. he IS hungry ! why is he not eating. so I kept watching and he keeps sticking his tongue out. I got him down and checked his mouth (that was not an easy task) and his fang is missing ! I read up on it and this can go real bad or real good. if it fell out because of age, nothing needs to be done. if it broke of , it has to be surgery and because of his age thats not good at all. I dont see any tooth but there is swelling and a ring? of red around where the tooth was. either way, its soft food now and he has always been on a special diet (lower ph) because of kidney stones. I am not going to find that in canned food.
