I get the Kevlar being puncture proof but it might need sometime of metal "corset" to stop them from the pressure of the bite I would think. and some form of head protection.

LMAO I was referring to Iceangel. Good morning there York.
Oh geez, completely missed this post. That is a fantastic kitchen stove/oven. We had something like that for a while in the farmhouse kitchen, but it was ugly, no frills, all white. It had little manhole covers on the cooktop you could remove to add wood quick. Came in handy during winter power failures, but was replaced with electric soon after. Nice not to have to depend on the electric company for everything!![]()
it looks a lot like this one only polished nickel instead of blue trim

especially out at the farm where there are frequent power outages. The furnaces and stoves are on propane as well. out there
How beautiful! Yeah.I grew up in an old farmhouse. Having a fire was the only way to keep warm until dad finally put in a couple of baseboard heaters. I still liked the wood stove. We got one that has low emissions. It's set up to reburn the smoke, so if you've got it burning right, there's no visible smoke coming out of the pipe. It's got a window too.Bad thing is it's an insert, so you can't cook on it. California just passed a law that no new houses can be built with fireplaces. Guess I will never had a new house.![]()
This is from last year. Ming is up there right now!
