My EE soot has bubbles in her eye, and it's draining on her face. This happened last year and I think it was complications from the pox? She had it before I brought the new birds in, but I was waiting to see if it would clear on its own.

I'll clean her up and give her a little of the VetRX to start with. I noticed the polish had some nasal discharge, too. I know the experts say that chickens don't get colds, but they do seem to get this way when the weather turns cold and damp.

Good morning from the noodle head (about two weeks ago lol). I already hear him and the mutt is moving. Time to get up feed my critters (and prep dh's lunch) and get myself ready for another fun filled day at work.

And then prepare myself for hr going "whyyyyy are you leaving us?!?!"

Good morning! Sunny and cooler toady. We have a frost warning for tonight! Last winter was so mild, I don't think we had frost more than a handful of times. Guess I will pick all the tomatoes left and cover my one summer squash that's still producing. Guess we are in for a cold winter, but I can't complain, seeing as how so many of you get REAL winter.
