Just got off the phone again this brother who just moved to Tx@zz so I shall now go back and read the posts I skimmed through to better understand before I post anything.

How is your bro doing

Only been there a couple weeks still painting the entire house as wife doesn't like the colors    He works for United Airlines and is based out of Houston.  They bought a place in Littleton or little something.     LOL  not sure I'll ever get down there.  Hate heat and humidity even more so.
That's too bad Twist, so he moved because of his work.

yes they were very happy in Cheyenne wy and son in trade school there and daughter in pre-vet at larimie (about 30 min away) and only 500 miles from here. The week they closed on this house 6 slots opened up in Denver and he could have stayed put. Which I think is hysterical as he moved as quick as he could to Tx to get all the "goodies" that united pays for moving.

Quote: I've had the black before, still have one even, but more problem with the ISA's, some hatcheries call them Cinnamon Queens.

I order all my birds from Cackle Hatchery in MO very nice/healthy chicks. I think the queens started around 17 weeks for laying and starting to just get into the large size already. The aussies weren't to far behind. Still mainly peewee's from the SLW but the roo's of that breed dressed out pretty good easy to pick and not a lot of pin feathers. Not so much with the one aussie roo I did
