Hahaha, I just told hubby I look pregnant... and showed him my tummy and then pretended I wasnt pretending... His jaw dropped.. I got to be careful with that. We are getting older.

Oh and I usually turn every three hours.. and then let them sit at night. Im not gonna worry, cant change things now.

I found one of my baby silkies that had drowned. I grabbed it up and tried CPR on the poor thing but it didn't work. It was my favorite chick of course. I usually have bad luck when it comes to stuff like that. Then I got on here and asked was it stupid of me to try to give a chick CPR. Granny said she had tried before too so I did feel so bad.

gotta say never did chick cpr I did kill a pullet with the feed dish flippin over it in the heat and fried it

Well we all know my recent experience with blowing babies up still in the shell. Next time, I'll be more prepared.

My brother in law raised his own turkeys this year. He butchered and ate one that was 30 pounds this year. He asked if my incubating experiment worked if I could hatch chicks for the butcher... Im thinking about it. Hubby is against killing animals, but I think I should learn how to dress a bird and it would help with our grocery bill.

I killed a baby guinea once by dropping a brick on its head. I was trying to make hudy places for them and oops. LOL I did try to revive a chick that had fell in didnt work. I seen it happen and I just wasnt fast enough i guess.
