Ok gonna try to finish the tales of yesterday. Helped nephew empty out a room so we could re-do the bathroom a little, paint, and new carpet. Then I am informed by my maid's that one of the guest's in another room decided that she (or her friend's) needed my 40 inch Sony flat screen tv plus the wall-mount for it, the cable from wall to tv and the remote. Called cop's filed report. Another guest said he had seen who took it so sent the cop's over to his room guess what he had an outstanding bench warrant so they cuffed him and hauled him off to jail. Took the lock off and had it re-keyed cost 40.00 new cable and wall mount cost 60.00 new remote cost 15.00. They also took 2 blankets and 2 pillow cases me thinks to help haul their loot out. The TV was returned last evening by a 4th party still wrapped in one of my new blankets. No remote, cable or wall mount though. Also was informed by the cops that they would try to get tv back but I couldn't press criminal charges as I didn't see her actually take the tv. Even though the room was registered in her name I would have to take her to civil court. MY ACKING CRACK SERIOUSLY!!!

So now I have a TV with 1/2 of a wall mount. Keep in mind the wall mounts are screwed into studs with 6 inch lag bolts. Gonna have to raise rates again to pay for survailance cameras or quit renting to people with Dickinson Addresses. UFFDA
By the way any one who takes credit cards can no longer alter the charges to cover theft or damages or smoking in the room fee after the guest checks out. Or at least not the processing center that I use. I did ask them just who it going to authorize a charge to their credit card for theft ??? NO answer from them about that. So every one can check in to a motel destroy the room, steal everything (even stuff mounted to walls) cross the state line and viola you have free stuff. Thank you Dr Spock for telling us not to discipline our children and social services for buying into that. You reap what you sew,
Stepping down off of soap box now.
