You know, I read that, but I wasn't sure if this type of hummingbird did that or not. I think they're Anna's, because that's mostly what I see around here, but I can't tell. I read that Anna's usually make new nests for each clutch, but maybe I'll leave it up for a whole after this one fledges to see if she reuses it. Should I try and take the other egg out (after the baby leaves)? I am pretty tired of the poop wall, and we actually had our house painted right after she started making her nest and I had them leave the whole patio area alone, so they have to come back and do that area after she's done with the nest. Guess it wouldn't kill me to wait another 2 months. :)

Hmm.. Then that is really strange. You must have a neighbor that lost track of a chick.

half afraid to go outside today. I am tired of waiting on someone to finish that dog kennel out there so I am going to Attempt it myself today. Its been sitting there over a month. My SIL started it and he has the door panel upside down. I really need some energy or motivation myself. I am tired of this and that always needing done. Get things in order and be done all ready. I dont want to keep moving on to new projects. Ready to stop and enjoy what i have. It has been a long time since i have been able to go outside and sit and watch the chickens. it is always time to feed, water, ect... Ok , this is a dumb post. I am just complaining instead of doing what needs to be done. LOL supposed to be a pretty day. [IMG] hope all of you have a very quiet , relaxing day as well.
