Looks like everyone's been busy the last few days - sure gets quiet around here when we all go off to our offline lives, lol. Hope all are well!

I'm only on page 531. Don't thin I will ever catch up. I feel like I know all you on here. Read about your chickens and your life. I've cried a lot. But laughed more. Granny. We have a lot in common. I really can't stand to wear a bra. But no problem. Here. Nothing much to hold up
Today's episode of "No good deed goes unpunished" - Ran out at lunch to grab something quick to bring back to the office. Pulling into my parking spot back at work I noticed a bunch of LBB(Little Brown Birds) hopping and fluttering about in the bushes around the spot. Most flew off, but one just looked odd the way it was sitting in the bush. As I watched he/she started fluttering and it was clear something was amiss. Being the softie that I am, I put down my lunch and purse and went over for a closer look - turns out the little one had gotten it's foot/leg stuck and, when trying to follow the others as they took off, had made it worse - by this point it was hanging upside down by it's leg and was fairly well tangled in the plant to boot....there was no way it was going to get itself loose. Reached in to secure the bird - got bit for my trouble - got ahold of the little buggar and set to work trying to move the bird with one hand and manipulate leg and plant with the other - and, of course, the patient was oh-so-cooperative, lol. Finally got LBB loose and, in the process, was bitten once more AND pooped on for my troubles.
