Charlie took his bottle!

All 6 oz! He even suckled properly twice for about 10 seconds. And he sucked on my hand when he lost the nipple. I can see the edge of the woods!

Edit: he had been bleating at the kennel door for about two hours. I think he's finally settled in.

Mined salts

Salt that dont come from the see is usualy low in Iodine, that is very importent to the normal function of the thyroid
Gland!

They're all pretty furious. I was hanging the waterer and one of my EEs jumped up on the nests to scold me. Then she just followed me around scolding me. I threw some scratch to earn forgiveness.

Hi everyone, back in from chores ~ frozen, lol. A quick cup of coffee & then I off to get cleaned up for dd's birthday dinner out. Dummy me finally had a light bulb go off on what I could do to get the SFH's all together. My first coop is housing some juvie sex links that I am selling right now. Moved the rooster & both hens over in that coop with them. It will take the roo a bit to impress the girls & for them to be cleansed of the Icelandics genes anyways. Four of the juvies will be leaving this weekend, so that will free up a bit more room for them.
