Tomorrow I start my adventure of trying to teach myself a tiny bit of vegetable gardening. Gonna hang my grow light and plant some seeds. Never have done this before, but I have to learn at some point. Keeping it small. Only doing zuchinis, yellow squash and Kale. Im excited to learn.
If you like them, sugar snap peas are a great starter crop. Easy to grow, prolific, and they like cool weather. Don't take up much space either, since you grow them up. Can be done in a patio pot, too.

Hope your JG is okay. Was she from a hatchery?

Howzit going? I have been wasting time picking out what breed of duck I want. Welsh Harlequins! The females are very pretty and they are good layers.
 
this is what I have; Sargent Murdock , all black-stand offish-sentimental , frost bite on comb and wattles. 1 yr.
Keep forgetting the name white w/ black head , good shape -gentle Not the best specimen 1 yr
Half rir/swedish flower red body/orangish head crested, looks good , hand raised , my hatch, 6 months
silkie almost black lol 1 1/2 yr.

I can keep ONE of those. then I have tolbunt roo sorry shape
unknown color polish roo good shape
swedish, poor shape but can get the job done
3 serama roos
 
Im going to take a stab in the dark and say lice. Please dont listen to me I am just throwing a guess in.

I was thinking of another duck for flo. she is broody now. LOL sitting on 3 chicken eggs . the home page shows some ducks with round cheeks I think are so very cute .
