I keep plenty of fresh bedding and when I rotate it is just mulch plants with the refuse.
The broilers were smelly though
Real nasty birds, unless you have lots of room for them to range which I dont. I didn't count the 4 broilers that are left,Lmao
The quail can be kinda smelly but their hutch is up off the ground and when I let the chickens out they clean up any feed or droppings

and import large shade tree's as well. at least out here. I believe our state tree is the telephone pole.![]()
