I don't think they would, some are smaller & lighter than other Silkies. I would find you a little petite girl & I bet she would go to town hatching them.

What about some shipped eggies from a small silkie in or around northern michigan

After a horrible night, I come on and see babies... Read good stuff. Granny, I love light houses!!! Camping, no worries about the brooder... Any lightbulb will work for now. I need a silkie bator but keep those pigeons away from me . Love you

The other chicks picked the bits of shell off. Guess it's just a bit pink, not like a true bleed when they pip through a vein.

Wow that looks like a beautiful Hatch! You got them high dollar birds, me I jus got plain Hatchery stock bred RIR and pullet egg Dominickers.

These are pullet eggs! And my next hatch is yard EEs. And since my hona is broody, I'll be setting a lovely hodgepodge of yard eggs for EHAL. I've got some nice HRIR out there but don't think the roo is breeding.

It's def too cold out there for 5 babies and a 40w bulb. They'll be fine in the bator til morning.
